Versatile business leader, Katherine Kemp, possesses deep experience in multiple key economic sectors – from leading the growth of iconic brands for Fortune 500 companies, to highly accomplished entrepreneur, to senior management in the non-profit world.
Her track record of success includes more than 20 years of marketing for Fortune 500 companies, where she managed some of the most recognized and well-respected brands in the world, including:
She acquired and built a Smoothie King nutritional lifestyle franchise into the highest-revenue store in Michigan within its first two years. Between 2006 and 2016 she employed more than 100 team members. Ms. Kemp also has served as a former board member for Kalamazoo Chamber of Commerce and Girls on The Run coach.
Ms. Kemp currently serves as Executive Director of Girls on the Run International. She concurrently offers counsel to local business leaders in her role as a business growth coach for the Center for Leadership where she helps local companies scale their business domestically and globally, provide business workshops to non-profit organizations through Oneplace@kpl, and serves on the Can-Do board and Career Connect Advisory Counsel.
